everyone was freaking hungry cause they only allowed us to eat after our performance
which was like 3.30
luckily i had hotcakes for breakfast at kap! :D
while discussing abt bsp with woonyee, limin, sonia, jermia
with minghui and sinlie too haha
mrs phua and mrs ee took a few containers of new year pastries for us

holidays are officially over in a few hours time
they sure do fly pass very quickly
school's starting tmr and so is all the work

time really seems to fly
very quickly too...

it seems like yesterday when i was still in taiwan D:
want to go back there! :(
anyway, had lots of fun there
and met my cute little cousin yang xiang
although his temper's kind of nasty but he's really irresistably cute!
and quite a sweet talker at the age of 5
wonder when i'll be able to go to taiwan again. D:

next was nyco annual camp!
was looking forward to this yr's unlike last yr
quite surprising :D
and huibao this yr was great!

and there's this OMG incident that happened

was feeling kind of down cause of the class allocation and stuff

freaking shocked that i got into math and science talent class

cause i transferred out of it in the end.

results were quite okay but i was kind of disappointed with la and science
la not that bad but science...
although it's still an a1 but it's nt good enough
so many careless mistakes!
some ques were wrong cause i MISREAD the ques!

rehearsals before the competition yesterday were kind of tough and tiring
practices till 6 plus in the evening and returning home drenched in sweat.
and with all the props making, stage movement and technical stuff
lots and lots of stuff to coordinate and synchronise
and the boxes and cloths shelve for the props are kind of heavy :P
but all the hard work's worth it cause we got BEST SET AWARD! :D
proud of 210!
im beginning to fall deeper and deeper in love with 210! :D
DELUSION FTW!

had the sandwich making and skipping competition today for post-exam activity
210 won 3rd prize for sandwich making! (:
i was in the skipping team and paired with fel! :D
WE MAKE A GREAT TEAM TOGETHER FEL! <3
realised that fel and i can produce good stuff when we work together xD

today marks the start of the fabulous SEPTEMBER HOLIDAYS
brilliant, wonderful, splendid, enjoyable...

one whole long week of vigorous and intensive mugging ahead! D:
really dread this.
thinking of all the topics for all the subjects is really tormenting.
actually,
the bio stuff are alr a lot.
i wonder how im going to memorise and understand everything in time for the block test on 16 sep.
surprising, bio this term was kind of interesting
but the memorising part isnt exactly smtg you'd want to look forward to.

spent the morning and the afternoon doing bio as 3.3 and understanding rivers.
my mind was totally switched off during geo lessons these days.
cant seem to absorb anything that mrs ho says.

youth day funfair
or founders day funfair (?!)
was super fun! (:
but i still prefer last yr's actually.
cause this yr the atmosphere wasnt as good as last yr.
and it was kind of rush and unprepared beforehand.
and the publicity is like...
last yr there were like tons of posters and advertisments all around the sch
this yr there were only a few scattered ones here and there :X
so there's nt much excitement for it.

i was practically sweating the whole day during founders day on fri -.-
firstly we assembled in the hall for morning assembly and singing of songs.
all 4 levels plus teachers and some impt ppl cramped in the tiny hall.
and then funfair.
also super squeezy.
and lastly standing under the hot sun cheering.
that was the worse one.
but still, everyone was so HIGH! xD
hahaha.
first thing i did when i got home was to BATHE! :D :D :D

yeah i know...
i havent been posting for like i dont know how long :X
but i've been really very busy! D:

i seem to be getting "stress fits" due to stress (mostly cause of blocks) nowadays!
argh!
oh no!
im back to my sec 1 kind of super anxious self again!
i had a hard time adapting to the work load and stuff during sec 1 so for the 1st few months i was like nervous and easily stressed out by every single thing
even the littlest things.
yeah.
and cause of this coming block im getting super stressed out again! :X
ARGH!

then why am i wasting time posting here? :/
im supposed to be doing the question b for the romeo and juliet presentation...
and lit circle is driving me crazy!
so much work to do!
why in the world is there such a thing called lit circle in nanyang?!
but seriously,
although it's very hard work,
but it does help you understand r&j much better.
with all the discussion ques and your group members apparantly filling you up on some info that you dont know.
or maybe even discuss about an idea that you've nvr even thought of!
at least that's the ezperience for me (:
so i guess all the work is sort of worth it.
you need to work hard in order to produce good results!
that's what i always tell myself.

and then sore throat.

i've seen a doctor 3 times within 2 weeks and no one sent me to a hospital or gave me tamiflu.
speaking of seeing doctors.
i spent like close to $100 just for doctors; fee in 2 weeks.
actually not my money...
my dad's.
but it's so expensive!

and eat finish the medicine also like better by a teeny weeny bit.
somemore is antibiotics leh! -.-
one of them is 1 pill $3. the doc gave me 6 pills. so it adds up to $18 for just 1 type of medicine!

can finally get enough sleep!

i've been using dettol aloe vera hand sanitizer everyday to keep my hands free from bacteria to prevent h1n1 :P
in fact, our table must be the cleanest grp in 210! >< ser, fel, peiling and i are like applng hand sanitizer like every hr -.-
haha.
but the feeling's so cooling and refreahing!
i feel like applying it again now :P

went to watch hannah montanna the movie at westmall.

hello! (:
went for cca today.
half of the time was kind of slacky
cause of sec 1 orientation
and the next half was intense pracing ><

xianyue sec 2's "obstacle course" was very screwed up :X
our venue was the canteen so we were like trying our utmost best to arrange the tables and chairs like some obstacle course.
which kind of failed though :/
and those ppl need to like crawl under the table, over the table and all sorts of funny dumb stuff we could think of.
and then they were like supposed to form a chain by grabbing the shoulders of the person in front of you.
and if you broke the chain we'll deduct 1 point.
then in the end the scoring system was like screwed up!
we just any-oh-how give points ><
mostly full marks.
and great!
these tables and chairs that we used are used for eating and sitting.
and we step step step...
shall not elaborate on the consequences ><
and while arranging all the tables and chairs all of us suffered bruises.
they're very heavy okay! :X

next is xiaozu.
which zls tested us on kaoji pieces.
i didnt prac at all.
but i was like the 3rd last to be tested.
so had like 1 hour plus to prac :D
so prac and prac until my fingers are going to rot soon.
then in the end he tested a very small portion of the zi4 xuan3 qu3 only.
but the whole of lian4 xi2 qu3.
both were kind of passable.
but my yin1 zhun3 for lianxiqu was like :/

and tmr some ppl from hdb going to come and make a whole mess of my house
and LOTS OF NOISE!
cause of the stupid toilet lahh!

went to malaysia today.
not a planned trip though
and also not for hoilday either.
my mum's uncle passed away sp went to attend funeral ><

anyway,
woke up at 5.30am today.
and didnt manage to sleep throughout the car journey to yongpeng -.-
which makes me kind of tired now.
went to my mum's hometown after that at simpang
i couldnt rmb the place.
cause it's been like... 6-7 years since i last went back there...
so you cant blame me...
ate lunch at some so called restaurant.
which has tons of houseflies...
wonder why everywhere is infested with houseflies in msia.

then the person at the custom requested for me to open my bag so he could check

okay hello!
im currently in physics lab 2.
and im using the school labtop for this ><
when im supposed to be listening to some fuel cell presentation...
but serioulsly,
this is really boring.
finally it's the last day of the sabbaticals.
and im kind of looking forward to the closure of theis renewable energy sabbats...
cause the theory part's kind of boring and useless.
and the practicals are okay only.
not exceptionally fun.
and we get a mentor with a eggplant head
(acknowlegement to serene :D)
but this sabbat shd be quite worth it for those taking it.
cause we all pay the same amt of money for sabbat no matter what sabbat we take.
and the equipment for this sabbat apparantly costs a lot.

creative writing's okay.
the way the craft the lesson's kind of engaging and interesting
but some parts make me want to sleep.
especially since creatove writing's after lunch everyday. :X

didnt do as badly for la as i've expected...
i thought i was going to get damn low...
cause i was having fever that day so i wrote a super short essay.
with a blurry state of mind.
but it turned out okay.
but i think the teacher was kind of lenient.
cause everyone got considerately high marks.

finally the end of a stressful week! :D

finally!
im going to post about SYF DAY! :D
omg omg omg.
it's like 2 days after syf alr and im still so high whenever i think about nyco! (:
GOLD WITH HONOURS! [:

okay.
we praced in the school audi from 8 to 11 in thr morning.
the zhuang tai was quite ok.
and there wasnt very much of a problem for both the pieces.
then we had lunch and then we slept for 30 min
i think i really fell asleep but felt very energetic when i woke up (:
then went through the 2 pieces once more.
and proceeded to change and make up -.-
we spent like dont know how long in the toilet trying to doll up ourselves.
haha.
then off to spore conference hall! (:
reached there and eh wait and wait.
then i saw charmaine, shi chan and kaiyan! :D
when i went to the toilet haha.
then went to the tuning room to tune.
and went through some major transition parts in the pieces.
and went to the 2nd floor to wait for our turn.
victoria was inside playing and their chan ge was kind of different from ours.
so wait and wait.
and then when they went off stage in neat rows,
queenie and i realised that we didnt arrange how to get off stage! D:
then queenie just passed down the message to everyone to play by ear.

i didnt dare to look at the audience when i was on stage!
all the seniors,
pinning their hopes on us! :(
started with chan ge.
could feel the kind of si1 nian4 feeling when playing the man4 ban3.
and after chan ge,
we had to "huan4 xin1 qing2" for chun.
while some instruments tune.
i wanted to cry while playing!
it was so touching.
especially the 2nd time the main melody came out!
it was so beautiful and touching.
mrs ee said we played in a kind of tense way
but tense in a good way for the piece :D
the dizi solo part was a little screwed up but we quickly made up for the mistake
the kuai4 ban3 was very catchy and nice!
the ending was like so soon!
and the 15 min on stage passed by like a gust of wind! D:

then yingxuan cried as we made our way out
cause she's a sec 4 and this's her last syf in nanyang D:
dk if i'll be as emo and devoted to nyco as her 2 yrs down the road...
then went to the outdoor space near the carpark to have some snacks
and debrief.
everyone was like so emo and quiet...
very tense atmosphere.
mrs ee talked about how proud she was and stuff.
and that any award now wont matter (:
so touching

went back into the hall for the announcements of results.
we were like stuck outside due to the shortage of seats
and everyone was like complaining about the ushers ><
finally we got to enter and then we were all so tensed up.
i was sitting beside wanqing and the both of us were like holding onto each other's hand.
then announce announce announce.
finally came to no. 36: nanyang girls high
RONG2 YU4 JIN1, GOLD WITH HONOURS! (:
they we started screaming at the top of our lungs.
cried a little bit but not those wail until everyone looks at you lahh.
we were the only sch that got gwh for the 2nd half of the day! (:

went out of the hall after the announcement of results
cheered the united cheer.
i think we sort of shocked everyone in sch.
cause we were like shouting and screaming:
we'll show them all that we can fight ah fight ah.
cause all dressed until like shu2 nv3
then suddenly so agressive. lol.

the "ah" was so ear piercing...
had a number of 3 cheers for...

finally high over alr then settled down a little
and waited for the bud to come fetch us back to school
was very tired on the bus

the time's super short.

okay.
i know.
i;ve not posted for erm... 6 days.
that's not a lot compared to ser xD

anyway,
was quite busy mugging and having co prac the last few days so no time to post.
SYF IS IN 9 DAYS! :O
oh my goodness...
last thur's audi prac was a total disasters.
problems that have never appeared all appeared on that day.
and obviously mrs ee was very pissed and disappointed with us.
all of us were in a very restless mood that day.
then we all had scolding after scolding.
especially dizi section.
who all cried D:
next was xianyue ><
we couldnt get the correct beat and tempo and was very messy.

and then there was a miracle on sat.
we played the best we've ever done :D
our standard is really fluctuating at a super great scale! :X
which i think is not exactly very good...
cause none of us have an assurance of our performance on syf!
so we're super frantic and anxious...
hopefully we'll fare well for syf!
towards our common goal: GOLD WITH HONOURS! (:

mugging for history really sucks.
especially since my history is like the worse among all the other subs.
which means i have to work very hard.
and plus my whole sat was wasted.
cause i went for prac in the morning,
maths sia project in the afternoon with ser, fel and van,
and went to change specs at night.
i left home at 8 in the morning and reached home at 8+.

finally, after a hectic week in school!
